Refund Policy

At ContractGuard, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued and how to request one.
Credit Packs (Pay-As-You-Go)
- Unused credits are non-refundable.
Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase date.
- Technical failures:
If our service fails to analyze your document due to a technical error on our end, we will restore the credit used for that analysis.
- Unsatisfactory results:
Due to the nature of AI analysis, we cannot offer refunds for analysis results you are unsatisfied with. AI analysis is provided for informational purposes only.
Subscriptions
- Cancel anytime.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
- No partial refunds.
We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time within your billing period.
- Access continues.
After cancellation, you retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.
- Renewal:
Subscriptions automatically renew. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
Exceptions — When We Will Refund
We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly or charged multiple times for the same purchase.
- Service unavailability: If the service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 hours) during your subscription.
- Unauthorized charges: If you can demonstrate that a charge was made without your authorization.
How to Request a Refund
- Email us at support@contractguard.co.za
- Include your account email address
- Provide the date of purchase and amount
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant screenshots or transaction IDs
We will review your request and respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, to the extent that it is applicable. If you believe you are entitled to relief under the CPA that is not addressed in this policy, please contact us.
